Planet Seven - Lara's Theme (1997)

Hey space surfers. I woke up this morning with some twang in my Tang and a whammy bar in my coffee. Now we have a few minutes to check out this masterpiece of 90's feel good surf rock reworked from the Dr. Zhivago soundtrack. Amongst the many amazing things going on here - space synth, completely locked in and fuzzed out rhythm section - the break at 1:45 unleashes a truly glorious guitar moment for all time. It's also a wonderful head bopper!

It can be found on the Mondo Drive-In compilation (1997) for more fun surfy stuff.
